These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Hey Slide, including the public website at heyslide.io and the app at app.heyslide.io. Hey Slide is provided by Cogent AI ("Cogent AI," "we," "us," or "our"). By using Hey Slide, you agree to these Terms.

Use of the Service

You may use Hey Slide only in compliance with these Terms and applicable laws. You are responsible for your account, your use of the service, and any content you upload, submit, generate, share, or present through Hey Slide.

Accounts

You must provide accurate account information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, you should notify us promptly.

Your Content

You retain ownership of presentation files, questions, comments, and other content you submit to Hey Slide. You grant Cogent AI the rights needed to host, process, transmit, display, generate outputs from, and otherwise use your content to provide and improve Hey Slide.

You represent that you have all rights, permissions, and authority necessary to submit content to Hey Slide and to allow us to process it as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

AI Outputs

Hey Slide may generate narration, answers, summaries, moments, and other outputs using AI systems. AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for a particular purpose. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on or sharing them.

Acceptable Use

You may not misuse Hey Slide, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, violate others' rights, submit unlawful or harmful content, reverse engineer non-public parts of the service, or use Hey Slide in a way that could damage, disable, overload, or impair the service.

Subscriptions and Payments

Paid features may be subject to subscription terms, usage limits, fees, taxes, renewal terms, cancellation rules, and third-party payment processor terms shown at checkout or in the product. You are responsible for all charges associated with your account.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cogent AI will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to Hey Slide or these Terms.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Cogent AI harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your content, your use of Hey Slide, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice as required by law. Continued use of Hey Slide after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
